Cathy Sue Michaels, 42, of Grampian died on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on February 10, 1964 in Clearfield, a daughter of Byron and Sandra (Henry) Mullins of Grampian.
Mrs. Michaels was a Licensed Practical Nurse employed with the DuBois Nursing Home as the Alzheimers Unit Coordinator.
She was Christian by faith and a member of the Cherry Corner Bible Church.
She was a 1982 graduate of the Curwensville Area High School and a 1984 graduate of the Clearfield County Vocational Technical School in the LPN Program.
Also, she was a member of the Penn Grange.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David J. Michaels, whom she married August 18, 1984 in the Grampian Church of God; two children, Janessa Michaels and Johnathan Michaels, both at home; two sisters and a brother, Tracy Thorp and husband Jim of Curwensville, Corinne Neeper and husband Steve of Port Matilda, Stacey Mullins and wife Denise of State College; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Cherry Corner Bible Church on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor George W. Solley and Rev. William Mullins officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Sunday from 2 - 9:00 PM and at the church on Monday from 10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to DuBois Nursing Home Alzheimers Unit, 212 S. Eight Street, DuBois, PA 15801
