Charlotte M. Tibbens, 78, of Clearfield died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on December 2, 1935 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Charles and Goldie (Smith) Wigfield.
Mrs. Tibbens retired in 2000 from Walmart Supercenter, Clearfield where she was a cashier. Prior to that, she had worked in the cafeterias at both Walmart and the Clearfield Hospital.
She was a member of Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by two children, Larry Tibbens and wife Kathy of Portersville and Debbie Dixon and husband Joseph of Clearfield; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Merle Wigfield of Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Delford Wigfield.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 PM and on Friday from 10-11 AM.
