Chelsea Knepp

Chelsea Leila Pentz Knepp, 35, of Boalsburg, formerly of Grampian, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at her home.

She was born on January 31, 1989 in Clearfield, a daughter of Joseph and Betsy Pentz.

Chelsea attended Grampian Elementary School and then Curwensville High School, graduating in 2007. She worked several jobs before attending and graduating from the Clearfield Vocation School with a LPN degree. Her current employment was with the Atrium Healthcare Center at the Village in Penn State, where she worked in skilled nursing. She enjoyed caring for the residents she came in contact with and made many friendships with them and their families.

She had a flamboyant personality; you always knew she was in the room. She had a good sense of humor, always first in line for a giggle or two. She loved her pets, especially her dog, Tucker, who helped her through many rough times. She also had a love for her chickens whom she liked to visit and spoil.

In addition to her parents Joe and Betsy Pentz, she is survived by two brothers, Andy Pentz and wife Melissa, and Steve Pentz and wife Jamie; maternal grandparents, Frank and Diane Barrett; and numerous nieces and nephews, Noah, Allison, Cassie, Dawson, Abby, Andrew, and Lillian.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed and Wink Pentz; and two cousins, Isaiah Pentz and Michael Turner.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Curwensville with the Rev. Daniel Osterhout officiating. Interment will be in the Pentz Family Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received on Monday at First Baptist Church, Curwensville from 10 AM - 1 PM.
