Clair M. Law, 91, of Clearfield died on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

He was born on July 3, 1927 in Cresson, a son of the late Henry and Mabel (Yahner) Law.

Mr. Law retired as chief photographer from The Progress newspaper. Prior to his employment with the newspaper, he was employed at Fred Diehl Autos and Bell Telephone.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield

Law served with the U. S. Army during Korean War.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann McMullen and husband Brian of Clearfield; grandchildren, Elizabeth Didiano and husband Bruno Jr. of Pittsburgh, and Jonathan McMullen of Clearfield; and a sister, Ruth Brickley of Lumberton, TX.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (Krebs) Law on April 26, 2018 and whom he wed September 8, 1956 at St. Francis. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Law.

Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10 AM with Msgr. Henry Krebs as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, and Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.

At the funeral home on Wednesday, a Christian Vigil service will be at 1:45 PM and the Rosary will be recited at 5:45 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis School, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield or DuBois Central Catholic Theater Program, PO Box 456, DuBois, PA 15801.
