Clarence Tiemann

July 1, 1925 — May 21, 2005

Clarence H. Tiemann, 79, most recently a resident of Ridgeview Eldercare Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville died on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Select Specialty in Johnstown.

He was born on July 1, 1925 in Hamilton, TX, a son of the late George and Johanna (Kerstein) Tiemann.

Mr. Tiemann was employed in the heating, air conditioning and pipefitting business having retired from Turney Fuel Co. after 35 years of service. He served with the US Coast Guard during WW II and was a member of the Leigey Renaud Post #8386 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Frenchville and the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Johanna Kenworthy of England and Janice Tiemann of Orland, PA, a sister, Hertha Pax of TX and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Alfred and Oscar Tiemann.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Matthew C. Holbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the members of the Frenchville VFW Post.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 - 11:00 AM
