Clark A. Graham, 88 of Woodland died on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on September 30, 1920 in Goshen Township, a son of the late Howard and Cora (Selfridge) Graham.
Mr. Graham was employed by the Harbison-Walker Refractories for 43 years before retiring in 1988.
He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield and served in the U.S. Army during World War II having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He is survived a daughter,
Laureen L. Waring and her husband Charles of Clearfield
four grandchildren,
Tracey Litz, Lori McGovern, April Kurtz and Chuck Waring
7 great-grandchildren,
his former wife,
Ruth Gormont of
Clearfield
and her son,
William Gormont and his wife Helen of Rochester, NY
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ann (Pistilli) Graham on May 28, 1998 and whom he wed in December 18, 1946, nine brothers, Clair, Blair, George, John, Morris, Charles, Blanchard, Millard, and Howard Graham, three infant brothers, five sisters, Virginia Rice, Iva Maines, Nadine Fleck, Della Woodling Young, and Hazel Graham.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at
11:00 AM with Dr. Duane A. White and Rev. Jerry Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Egypt Cemetery, Woodland.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the Clearfield VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 – 7:00 PM and on Monday from
10- 11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 45 Alliance Road, Clearfield.
