Cleaver William “Bill” Thompson, 76, of Glen Richey passed away, surrounded by family, Tuesday April 9th, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born on December 2, 1947 in Clearfield. Bill had a long career at engineering firms working on many roadway and building projects. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandson, piloting airplanes, and serving on the Lawrence Township Planning commission. He enjoyed being a member and spending time at the Glen Richey Sportsmen's Club. Bill served his country in the US Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Graham) Thompson of Glen Richey; a daughter, Amanda Thompson of Clearfield; and a grandson, Evan W. Thompson of Glen Richey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by and infant son, Cleaver W. Thompson, III.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Bloomington Cemetery, Olanta.
