Clyde W. "Bill" Ardary, 88
of Goshen Road, Clearfield died on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on December 11, 1915 in Clearfield, a son of the late Donald and Nettie Mae (Welchons) Ardary.
Mr. Ardary retired in 1978 from EM Brown, Inc. Prior to that he was employed with Hyland Coal Co., Buckwalter Coal Co. and various other companies where he was a coal miner, truck driver and mechanic.
He attended the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812 and the Curwensville Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #692.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara Virginia (Lash) Ardary, whom he married November 18, 1939 in Clearfield,

14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy McBride Ardary and these brothers and sisters, Ruth Dush, Ralph Ardary, Paul Ardary, Arvilla Gaines and Samuel Ardary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at
2:00 P.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 1 - 1:30 PM
At the funeral home on Tuesday, a memorial service will be said at 6:45 PM by the members of the Curwensville Moose Lodge and the members of Clearfield Eagles and a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 8:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield PA 16830 or to the charity of one's choice.
