Clyde R. McQuillen Jr., 59, of Woodland died on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his home.
He was born on August 9, 1961 in Clearfield, a son of Clyde Sr. and Judith (Hauck) McQuillen.
Clyde graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1980 and then went on to wrestle at Williamsport Community College. He was very athletic and enjoyed playing soccer, as well as coaching soccer, which he did for many years for the Clearfield Soccer Association. Clyde was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved being outdoors and going to camp. He loved all animals, especially dogs, and liked to feed the birds, deer, and elk at camp. Clyde had many hobbies including shooting pool, shooting darts, bowling, riding motorcycles, and fixing cars, and watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was a member of Penfield Fireman's Club, and was affiliated with Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church and the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tamara McQuillen whom he wed December 31, 2008; four daughters, Kiley McQuillen and fiance Scott Turner, Kasey McQuillen and fiance Bryan McCracken, Mallory McQuillen, and McKenzie McQuillen; a step daughter, Amber Shaw and husband Todd; two step sons, Chester Cartwright and Gary Cartwright Jr.; three grandchildren, Emma McQuillen, Paetyn Hadden, and Beau Hadden; three step grandchildren, Maddilyn Shaw, Macie Shaw, and Miley Shaw; two brothers, Todd McQuillen Sr. and wife Susan, and Jeffrey McQuillen Sr. and wife Wendy; two sisters, Melissa McQuillen and husband Duryeu; and Terri Heberling and husband Corey; three brothers-in-law, Ryan McBride and wife Diane, Alan McBride, and Ed McBride and wife Tammy; mother-in-law, Dottie McBride; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1 PM with Rev. Robert Croft officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 AM - 1 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Ryan McBride's camp.
