Constance Hoyt

Constance Joy 'Connie' Hoyt, 73, of Clearfield went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on September 4, 1950 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Walter and Vada (Baney) Thompson.

Connie worked in Environmental Services at the Clearfield Hospital for many years. Most recently she was a proud caregiver for her granddaughter, Airian.

She was a very active member of the Clearfield Alliance Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and was also involved with the Junior Church and Youth Group. She was also very involved with the Special Olympics. Connie loved to help people, especially children

She is survived by her husband, Robert 'Bob' Hoyt; three daughters, Tammy Hoyt, Ginny Anderson, and Amy Hoyt; five grandchildren, Jenna Liegey, Megan Hoyt, Airian Hoyt, Miranda Jones, and Callie Greishaw; three great-grandchildren, Boston Samsel, Maddix Samsel, and Weston Greishaw; a sister, Deb McKenrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbi Jo Jones; a grandson, Christian James Gidney; two brothers, Bob Thompson, and Lynn Thompson; and a sister, Bonnie Habrel.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Clearfield Alliance Church on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 4 PM with Dr. Duane A. White officiating.

Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 3 - 4 PM.
