Cora V. Ardary, 86
of 318 Park Avenue, Curwensville died on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on July 21, 1916 in Curwensville, PA, a daughter of the late George D. and Mae L. (Hummel) Ardary.
Miss Ardary graduated from Curwensville High School 1934 and the Practical Bible College in 1937. She was ordained by the Clearfield Baptist Association on April 11, 1939 and served as Pastor of the Bells Landing Baptist Church from 1938 until 1965.
In addition, she retired from the Department of Public Assistance in 1978 after 30 years of employment.
She also served on the Salvation Army Board of Directors and was Past President of the Board. She was an active board member of the American Cancer Society and was a past member of the Curwensville BPW and Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Curwensville.
She is survived by a sister and two brothers,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Louise Osterhout.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville on Saturday from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM
