Cynthia "Jane" (Gray) Schucker, 73, of Dover, Del., died instantly on Friday, June 13, 2008, as result of a car acci¬dent.
Born at Clearfield, she was a daughter of Gladys and George Gray.
After graduating from Clearfield High School, she joined Bell Telephone as an operator.
In 1962, she moved to Denton, Md., where she was a volunteer in both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
In 1973, she moved to Dover, and joined J.C. Penney Co. Inc., from which she retired.
Ms. Schucker was Christian by faith and was a member of the Wyoming Methodist Church and the New Church of Dover.
She did volunteer work for the Salvation Army.
Mrs. Schucker is survived by her former husband, Robert Schucker of Clearfield; three. children, Foster Schucker and his friend, Susan Wilson, of Exton, Cynette Cavaliere and her husband, Tom, of Penfield, N.Y., and David Schucker and his wife, Debbie, of Delaware.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Heather Schucker, Michael Schucker, Jennifer Schucker, Pamela Jane Schucker, Tommy Cavaliere, Victoria Jane Cavaliere and Tim Schucker; and Susan's children, Dave and Jesse Wilson.
Mrs. Schucker is also sur¬vived by two brothers, Gordon Gray and his wife, Jean, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Gerald Gray and h, is wife, Edna, of Minneapolis; and a brother-in-¬law, Richard Kerr of Clearfield.
Mrs. Schucker was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gloria Gray Kerr; grandparents, Ferdinand. .Shakespeare and Carrie Evedale Nevling and James Wilber and Elizabeth Forsyth Gray.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday, July 12 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Rodger J. Gorton officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
Friends will be welcome on Friday, July 11 from 5-8 PM for refreshments upstairs at the Clearfield American Legion.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 611 Forest St., Dover, DE 19904.
