Daniel R. 'Dano' Lindgren, 63, of Curwensville died on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home.
He was born on October 29, 1960 in Clearfield, a son of the late Robert and JoAnn (Wolfe) Lindgren.
Mr. Lindgren was employed as a heavy equipment operator with PennDOT, having started working there at the age of 17 until 2004. He then drove coal trucks for various local companies. In previous years, Mr. Lindgren loved hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. He was also known for his pitching prowess, throwing no-hitters while growing up in the Curwensville Little League. More recently, he loved to travel and adored his dog, Shadow. Mr. Lindgren loved spending time with his kids, and his grandchildren, known affectionately as 'grand-cubs'. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and had a knack of knowing 'just the right amount of buttons' that he could push when joking around with his family and friends.
Mr. Lindren's legacy is summed up with the verse from Joshua 1:9 'Be Strong and Courageous'.
He is survived by two children, Brian Lindgren and wife Brittany, and Katie Finder and husband Brendan; four grand'cubs', Cayden and Cole Lindgren, and Evelyn and Malcolm Finder; and a brother, Mike Lindgren and wife Kori.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In honor of his wishes, there will be no public services held.
