David Aughenbaugh

David Allen Aughenbaugh, 51, of Chestnut Grove, Luthersburg, RD died on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.

He was born on April 19, 1954 in Clearfield, a son of the late James M. and Helen 'Tootie' (Clark) Aughenbaugh.

Mr. Aughenbaugh was employed with FCI in Clearfield for 30 years until it's closing in 2002. He was currently employed as a real estate agent with Howard Hanna Laurel Realty of DuBois and also worked for Central DuBois Bindery.
He was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, the Curwensville Free and Accepted Masons Noble Lodge #480 and the Coudersport Consistory.
He also was a former little league coach.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Morgan) Aughenbaugh, whom he married June 19, 1976 in Grampian United Methodist Church; two children, Eric David Aughenbaugh and his wife, Lauren, of DuBois and Lindsey Brooke Aughenbaugh at home; three brothers and a sister, James R. Aughenbaugh and his wife, LuAnn, of Curwensville, Lori Kurtz and her husband, Denny, of Curwensville, Jeffrey Aughenbaugh and his wife, Gail, of Curwensville, and Richard L. Aughenbaugh and his wife, Cindy, of Clearfield; a sister-in-law, Pam Wilson and her husband, George, of Chestnut Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews and one great niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger William and Mark Edward Aughenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8:00 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 92, Clearfield PA 16830 or to the charity of one's choice.
