David E. "Dave" Blowers, 54
of Woodland died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on February 25, 1956 in Philipsburg, a son of Margaret ‘Peggy’ (Duke) Blowers Schenk of Woodland and the late Edwin G. ‘Sonny’ Blowers.
Mr. Blowers was employed at Bigler Boyz Street and Off Road Toyz.
He attended the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, John W. Schenk, Sr. of Woodland,
five children, David E. Blowers III of Curwensville, Amy Jo Royer and husband Randy of Grampian, Jacob Peters of Clearfield, Vickie Barger and husband Matt of Clearfield, Raymond Nestlerode and companion Amber Johnson of Hyde,
10 grandchildren, Brittany S. Blowers, Nicholas D. Blowers, Alicia Royer, Breanna Royer, Braden Royer, Jenna Royer, Damon M. Haney, Arian Rose Haney, Devon J. Haney, C.J. Blowers,
a sister and two brothers, Mary Smith and husband Mel of Clearfield, John W. Schenk, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Clearfield, Burton D. Schenk of Woodland.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Peggy Schenk 531 Woodland Bigler Highway, Woodland, PA 16881.
