David L. Hallock, 83
of Clearfield died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
He was born on November 28, 1932 in Clearfield, a son of the late Clair 'Pete' and Leila R. (Mann) Hallock.
Mr. Hallock retired from UPS as an aircraft supervisor. Prior to that, he was employed by Capitol International Airways. He served with the US Air Force for eight years during the Korean conflict.
He was a member of Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield. He was also a member of the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6, the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #314, Clearfield and the Sam Davis Lodge #661, Smyrna, TN.
He is survived by four sisters, Dena Jeanne Murphy and Janet Carolyn Franklin, both of Baltimore, MD, Linda Leila Ninkovich of New Park and Shirley Mae Evans and husband Harold of Citrus Springs, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Mount Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Friday March 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating.
Military honors will be accorded at the church by the members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.
