Delores E. 'Dee' Robbins, 83 of Clearfield died on Friday, November 21, 2008 at her residence.
She was born on May 8, 1925 in Clarence, a daughter of the late George Dewey and Helen I. (Shaffner) McLaughlin.
Mrs. Robbins retired from the Riverside Bakery after 20 years of employment. Previously, she worked at Clearfield Furs and Bob's Army & Navy Store, Clearfield.
She was Christian by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Robbins, whom she wed November 24, 1945 in
Hagerstown, MD,
a daughter,
Carrol Murray and husband G. Michael of York,
two grandchildren,
Julia L. Murray of Charleston, SC
Adam M. Murray and wife Julie of West Chester,
and a great granddaughter,
Keelin
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James L. McLaughlin.
A memorial service will be held at the West Side United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert L. Rupp officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 1-2:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 541 Graham Station Road, Philipsburg PA 16866 or to the YMCA, 21 North Second Street, Clearfield PA 16830.
