Diane L. "Bunkie" Bunk, 59
of Clearfield died on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on September 18, 1949 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Jack and Thelma L. (Boyce) Smeal.
Mrs. Bunk was employed by K-Mart, Clearfield for 25 years. She also volunteered with the Clearfield Starz Cheerleading.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Bunk, whom she wed on December 20, 1984 in Clearfield; a daughter Tammy Ritter of Lewistown; a step-son David Bunk of Arkansas; six grandchildren Jeffrey Brown of Franklin, Kevin and Eric Fusco both of Pittsburgh, Kira and Michael Ritter both of Clearfield and Anna Brown of Franklin; two sisters, Ada Muir of Clearfield and Carol Miller and husband Robert of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews, including James Smeal, with whom she was raised.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-son Michael Bunk.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Thomas C. Lenker officiating. Interment will follow in the Bigler Cemetery, Bigler.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday from 10-11 AM.
