Dolores Stimpson

Dolores Elizabeth Stimpson, 63, of Frenchville died on Friday, April 4, 2008 at her residence.

She was born on September 5, 1944 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Homer and Vivian (Stiner) Irvin.

Mrs. Stimpson was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Evangelical Baptist Church, Osceola Mills where she served as church pianist and belonged to the Ladies Fellowship.

She is survived by four daughters, Susan Cassick and husband Jeff of DuBois, Vicki Davis and husband Frank of Clearfield, Jamie Wagner and husband John of Woodland, Christy Bastardi and husband Anthony of Frenchville, five grandchildren, Kyler Figart, Shelby Wagner, Hunter Bastardi, Cassidy Bastardi and James Bastardi, six brothers and two sisters, Howard Irvin of Frenchville, Joe Irvin of GA, Judy Owens and husband Larry of LeContes Mills, Tom Irvin of Clearfield, Sarah Amon and husband David of Shawville, Jeff Irvin and wife Dawn of Woodland, Ron Irvin of Croft, John Irvin and wife Hope of Frenchville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Stimpson on August 30, 1999 and whom she married April 15, 1967 in Croft, and a brother James Irvin.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Richard McCahan officiating. Interment will follow in the Congress Hill Cemetery, LeContes Mills.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11:00 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
