Domenick DiVito, 73, of State College died on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at CentreCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Bellefonte.
He was born on March 3, 1948 in Celenza Valfortore, Italy, a son of Chiarina of State College and the late Battista DiVito.
Domenick served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was employed by American Hospital Supply which later became Baxter, for 25 years before working at the office of Physical Plant for Penn State University until his retirement in 2015.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, State College
He is survived by his wife Mary Rose Sturniolo DiVito formerly of Clearfield, his sister Carmela of Crawfordville, FL, his daughter Christina and her son Samuel Bodhi of Arlington, VA and his son John and wife Catherine and their son Louis Domenick and daughter Laurel May of Little Rock, AR.
Domenick alway enjoyed creating and eating a good meal with friends and family. He could fix just about anything and enjoyed anything Italian.
Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 1:30pm at St. Francis Catholic Church in Clearfield. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday from 11AM - 1PM.
