Donald Ardary

Donald C. Ardary, 89, of Clearfield passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.

He was born on February 13, 1935 in Clearfield, a son of the late Clyde and Dorothy (McBride) Ardary.

Mr. Ardary graduated from Clearfield High School in 1953. He then worked as a shop foreman at Gray Battery and Auto Supply for over 30 years and also worked as a mechanic at Gray Engine Service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, and mostly spending time with family.

He was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540, Clearfield.

He is survived by three children, Bryan Ardary and wife Darlene of Curwensville, Donna Sloppy and husband Denny of Woodland, and Jeanette Wallace and husband Todd of Curwensville; a daughter-in-law, Carolyne Ardary of Clearfield; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mona Lenhart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dallis M. (Kyler) Ardary on November 26, 2023. He was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ardary.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 12 PM with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating. Interment will follow in the Eden Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM - 12 PM.
