Donald W. McClincy, 54
of 1783 Hannah Furnace Road, Philipsburg died on Sunday, July 27, 2003.
He was born on November 19, 1948 in Clearfield, PA, a son of the late Donald and Betty L. (Maines) McClincy.
A 1966 graduate of Clearfield Area High School, he attended the Pennsylvania State University. Mr. McClincy owned the former McClincy Contracting and was a partner in McNad Joint Venture, a contracting company that built post offices around the country. He then was employed as a salesman for telecommunications for Bell-Atlantic. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of the Clearfield Foundation for Economic Development in Clearfield County. Mr. McClincy was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540, Clearfield and Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6. He had also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette (Vukovcan) McClincy whom he married on May 17, 1974.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dennis C. Rittle officiating. Interment will be in the Dales Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4:00 & 6-9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.
