Dorothy M. Aronhalt, 79 of Curwensville died on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Marion Manor, Curwensville.
She was born on January 8, 1931 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Russell W. and Leafy (Duttry) Harman.
Mrs. Aronhalt worked as an office manager for 22 years and owned the Clifton Lunch Restaurant in Cleveland, OH for 18 years.
She was a member of the Mogadore United Methodist Church, Mogadore, OH.
She is survived by a step son and four step daughters, Paul Aronhalt, Jr. and wife Linda of Lakewood, OH, Barbara Harmon and husband Woody of Akron, OH, Paula Darling and husband Gary of Akron, OH
Letha Aronhalt of Akron, OH and Teri Gray; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; a brother and a sister, Russell Harman of Grampian and Gwendolyn Klaczik of OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Aronhalt on May 15, 2004 and whom she married January 27, 1962 in Euclid, OH, a son Allan Kirk, a step daughter Betty Fox, two brothers George and Cortez Harman and three sisters Marie Yingling, Mary McCartney and Catherine Sanders.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday at 12:00 PM with Gary Jewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the time of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Foundation for Health-Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield; the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield or the Curwensville Public Library, 601 Beech Street, Curwensville.
