Dorothy C. 'Dott' Kitko, 79, of Bloomington, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at her home.

She was born on June 27, 1934 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late James and Ida (Clair) Dallen.

Dott was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family as well as crocheting, baking cookies and working crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Curwensville Baptist Church, Bloomington where she enjoyed attending services and being involved with the Senior Saints Program.

She is survived by six children, Kathy Hall and husband David of Clearfield, Debbie Keith and husband Dave of Curwensville, Stephen Kitko and wife Debbie of Clearfield, David Kitko and wife Sherrie of Thorntown, IN, Joyce Anne Weatherholtz and husband Wendell of Houtzdale and Vicki 'Dee' Hoover and husband Brian of Sanborn; and an 'adopted' son Denny Hamilton of Hyde. She was also 'Gommy' to fifteen grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren; a 'god-given' grandson Pastor Todd Weaver of California; and a sister to Carol 'Honey' Eaton and husband Don of Howard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. 'Pop' Kitko on February 21, 2011 and whom she wed August 30, 1952 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Linda Lee Kitko; three grandchildren, Kristy Marie Kitko and Jason Scott and Stephanie Janel Hoover; a sister, Agnes 'Kitty' Gavlock; and five brothers, Wilton, Jim, Frank, Stanley and C. 'Mac' Dallen.

Funeral services will be held at the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Hogue officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and at the church on Saturday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield or to the Community Baptist Church, PO Box 202, Curwensville.
