Dorwyn B. "Darby" Lansberry, 72
of West Seventh Avenue, Clearfield died on Thursday, January 8, 2004 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.
He was born on October 23, 1931 in Clearfield, a son of the late Burtis and Ivy (Noden) Lansberry.
Mr. Lansberry was employed as a sheet metal worker for AFL-CIO retiring in 1989.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a former member of the Free and Accepted Masons. In addition, he was Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. (Nelson ) Lansberry, whom he married August 27, 1954 in Emporium

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at
10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Searfoss officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8:00 PM and on Tuesday from
9-10:00 AM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 1010 Dorey Street, Clearfield or to the Hahne Regional Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois.
