Edna Billotte

Edna "Maymie" Billotte, 99, of Clearfield died on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

She was born on December 22, 1907 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late John E. and Angeline L. (Martel) Picard.

Mrs. Billotte was a homemaker and had previously been employed by the Clearfield Hospital and the Clearfield American Legion.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

She is survived by five children, William Billotte and wife Rose of Pensacola, FL, Donald Billotte and wife Jean of Clearfield, Laura Hollenbaugh and husband Thomas of Boardman, June Rosselli of Clearfield and Joyce DiFelice and husband Joseph of Clearfield;
22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; a brother, Nestor Picard of CA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Billotte on October 2, 1952 and whom she married in Frenchville in May of 1927.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Milligan and Shirley Dugan, two sons, Bernard A. 'Bernie' Billotte and Gerald ' Bud' Billotte, a sister Inez McGroarty and four brothers, Lewis, Ervis, William and brother Jesse Picard.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at
10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Friday from 9–9:30 AM.

A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at
8:45 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.
