Edward H. Fulesday, 79
of 206 Clearfield Street, Clearfield died on Friday, December 10, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on March 21, 1925 in Clearfield, a son of the late Charles and Sophie (Mecca) Fulesday.
Mr. Fulesday retired in 1988 from the U.S. Postal Service after 26 years of service. Prior to that he was employed by the former Harbison-Walker Refractories.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield where he participated in the Senior Choir, was a Sunday School Teacher and volunteered with maintenance and grounds keeping. In addition, Mr. Fulesday was a life time member of the Clearfield Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540, a former Boy Scout Leader and volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile and the Clearfield Food Bank.
He served with the U.S. Army in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Valimont) Fulesday, whom he married January 28, 2001 in Clearfield,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Fulesday and his wife Pauline, brother-in-law Clair Sloppie and sister-in-law Irene Fulesday.
Funeral services will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Matthew C. Holbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion
Post 6 Honor guard.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM.
