of Colorado Springs, Co and formerly of Woodland died on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.
She was born on March 20, 1913 in Ramey, PA, a daughter of the late Newton I. and Mary E. (Miles) Hegarty.
Mrs. McClafferty was formerly employed in Buffalo, NY until her retirement at which time she returned to Woodland.
She is survived by a son,

a grandson,
Brian McClafferty Colorado Springs, CO
four granddaughters,
Kelly Dearing Cambridge, Mass
Dedra McClay Colorado Springs, CO
Teresa Shannon Colorado Springs, CO
Elizabeth Shannon Jackson, Wyoming
two sisters,
Velma Hegarty Northumberland
Hazel Coon Clearfield
a sister-in-law,
Blanche Hegarty Woodland
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters Beatrice Litten, Erma Hegarty, Ruth McManus and Laura Nelson and two brothers Donald Hegarty and Miles Hegarty.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. Third Street, Clearfield, PA on Friday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dean Hegarty officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from Noon until 2:00 PM.
