Elaine S. Wisor, 59 of Woodland died on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center - Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born on April 16, 1950 in Clearfield, a daughter of Lois (Narehood) Shifter of Clearfield and the late Gordon J. Shifter.

Mrs. Wisor was employed at Forcey Lumber Co., Inc.
She was a member of the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland where served as financial secretary.
She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1968 as Salutatorian. She was the class secretary and served on the reunion committee.
In addition, Mrs. Wisor served on the Bradford Township Bicentennial Committee.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Frank E. Wisor, Jr., whom she wed January 8, 1970 in Hillcrest Heights, MD

two children, Jennifer Poirier and her husband Noel of Wrightsville and Jason Wisor and his fiance` Angela D. Carfley of Woodland

four grandchildren, Claire Poirier, Luc Poirier, Brina Carfley-Bickel and Ashley P. Wisor

a sister and brother, Jeannine Barger and her husband Robert of Clearfield and Duane Shifter and his wife Marsha of Clearfield

and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland on Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles J. Swenson officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 2 -3:00 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lake Street United Methodist Church, in care of Rev. Charles Swenson, PO Box 102, Woodland.
