Eleanor Ardary

November 8, 1928 — January 17, 2013

Eleanor C. 'Elly' Ardary, 84, a former resident of Springfield, PA, Delaware County for 41 years before moving to New Holland, PA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Lancaster General Hospital.

She was born on November 8, 1928 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Adam and Caroline (Beyer) Yung.

Mrs. Ardary earned her B.S. degree in Home Economics from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. She was employed as a Dietician for the Pittsburgh Public School System for 2 years and then was a Physician's Assistant in Springfield, PA, Delaware County for 18 years.
She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church, New Holland.

She is survived by three children, David Ardary and wife Victoria of Springfield, Sandra Demingny and husband James of Drexel Hill and Mark Ardary and wife Susan of Saylorsburg; seven grandchildren Samantha, Adam, Erik, Amy, Brittany, Stephen and Tyler; a great granddaughter Mackenzie and a sister Dorothy Staude and husband Jim of Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Ardary on December 3, 2008 and whom she wed August 18, 1951 in Pittsburgh.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Thursday at 2 PM with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-2 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 312, Curwensville.
