Eleanor R. McClure, 84

formerly of Golden Rod Farms, Clearfield died on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Elk Haven Nursing Home, Saint Marys.

She was born on August 24, 1924 in Bigler, a daughter of the late Elmer and F. Pyretta (Michaels) Rowles.

Mrs. McClure was employed as a secretary for the Juvenile Probation Office, Clearfield for 15 years. Prior to that, she was employed at the former Brody's of Clearfield.
She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Clearfield and a member of the Coterie Card Club since 1965.

She is survived by two children, Randy McClure and wife Olivia of Tucson, AZ, Debra Schneider and husband Donald 'Tex' of Saint Marys,

six grandchildren, James, Andrew and Amanda Schneider, Brandon McClure, Lou Friday, Pam Ziomek

and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. McClure on November 26, 1979 and whom she married April 26, 1944 in Bigler, a great grandson and two sisters Mildred Thompson and Jean McCorkle.

Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Monday at
10:30 AM with Rev. Virginia Eminhizer officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from
2 until 6:00 PM and at the church on Monday from 10-10:30 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 1010 Dorey Street, Clearfield or the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 South Front Street, Clearfield
