Elizabeth G. Morrison, 84
of 110 Poplar Ave., Clearfield died on Sunday, July 7, 2002 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on October 21, 1917 in Winburne, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary (Kashi) Spingola, Sr..
Mrs. Morrison had retired as a dietary aide from the Clearfield Hospital after several years of service. She had also retired from the former McGregor Sportswear after many years of service.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #498, a board member of Christ the King Auxiliary of DuBois, she served as past president for both the John Lewis Shade Post #6 Auxiliary of the American Legion and the Martha Washington Lodge #1525 of Clearfield. She was a member and volunteer of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Senior Citizens Center and had volunteered for many years at St. Francis School.
She is survived by one brother and three sisters,

numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Dutch" Morrison,
on May 20, 1971 and three sisters Margaret Rowles, Madeline Spingola, and Lorretta Swatsworth.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on
Wednesday at 10:00 AM with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday
from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 9-9:30 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield PA 16830 or charity of one's choice.
A Christian vigil service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM by members of the Rosary and Altar Society followed by services by the Catholic Daughters of America and the Martha Washington Lodge.
