Elizabeth Ann Reid, 86, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on June 19, 1938 in Penn Township, a daughter of the late LeRoy A. 'Sneezy' Snyder and Ruth A. (Wall) Snyder.
Mrs. Reid was employed by CSB Bank, retiring in 2004 after 25 years of service. In addition, she worked for Sekula Signs, DuBois for seven years.
She was a member of the Penn Grange #534, Clearfield Pomona Grange #33, serving as treasurer, Curwensville Womens Club and the Grampian Community Choir. Ann volunteered at many places included the Clearfield Area Agency on Aging, Clearfield Clothes Closet and Food Bank, and the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy J. Johnston, Kathi Streich, and Becky Snyder; two brothers, Andy Snyder, and James W. 'Huck' Snyder; three step-children, Sheena Reid, Steve Reid and wife Teena, and Scott Reid; four grandchildren, Pamela, Breena, Dustin, Allison; a great granddaughter, Channing; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Reid on May 19, 1974 and whom she wed February 17, 1970. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Snyder; and a brother, Richard A. Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11 AM with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society 108R N. Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
