Elvis Taylor, 69, of Clearfield, died on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on November 24, 1951 in Greensburg, a son of the late Warner and Rosa Maria (Masilli) Taylor.
Elvis graduated in 1969 from Hempfield Area High School and also attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was retired from the Boilermaker Local Union #154, Pittsburgh. Elvis was a member of The Tea Party, NRA, Faith and Freedom Coalition, Judicial Watch, The Heritage Foundation, the Republican National Committee, VFW Loyal Patriots Circle and the John Birch Society. He was a supporter of Hillsdale College and a founding sponsor of the Flight 93 Memorial. In July of 2007, Elvis accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. Elvis was baptized in his faith as a Christian, his soul set free. Elvis had a unique sense of humor only those who knew him could enjoy. A talented man, his favorite pastime was picking his nose, a tradition proudly passed down to his son, Elvii.
He is survived by his wife, Dealyn (Boyce) Taylor whom he wed on October 2, 1999; a son, Zachary Elvis Taylor and wife Chrissy; step son, Harry William Reitmyer; a granddaughter, Jemma Rose Taylor; two sisters, Sherry Doratio and husband Tim, and April Taylor; a nephew, Tim Doratio Jr. and wife Jeanette; two nieces, April Pundzak and husband Mark, and Darin Kinter and husband Max; and seven great nieces and nephews.
Elvis will be sorely missed by his 'two girls', Dealyn, and his baby girl dog, Payton Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, William and Jeri Boyce.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
