Ernest Jack Batcho, 59, of Butler died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on September 22, 1952 in Philipsburg, a son of Andrew and Betty (Visnofsky) Batcho of Clearfield.
Mr. Batcho retired from the US Air Force. He also was formerly employed at Batcho Business Machines, Clearfield.
He was Methodist by faith and spent his time reading and memorizing the bible.
He also enjoyed playing the guitar
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters and a brother; Betty Jean Gormont and husband Walter of Clearfield, Andrew Glenn Batcho and wife Linda of Clearfield, Doris 'Dorie' White and husband Charles of Curwensville and Diane Kesner and husband Kim of Clearfield; an uncle; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a great nephew, four aunts and seven uncles.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield with Pastor Sam Maines officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield.
