Esther Elizabeth Lingle, 88, of Frenchville died on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
She was born on September 1, 1933 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Peters) Lingle.
Esther enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, shopping, spending time with her granddaughter and taking care of her cat. She also babysat and did housework for various folks. For many years, Esther was her mother's caretaker and provided her with excellent care.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Reed and husband Dave of Frenchville; a granddaughter, Amanda Reed; two nephews, Dave and Tom Owens; nieces, Cheryl Gaut, Darla Pittman, Terri Duke, Glenda Rowles, Lori Karp, Angie Walk, and Lisa Stark; a brother-in-law, Elwood Coleman; and her fur baby, Princess.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Russell Lingle; two sisters, Hazel Owens and Doris Coleman; and infant sister, Kathryn Lingle; a brother-in-law, Bruce Owens; and a niece, Kathryn Hile.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday at 3 PM with Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-3 PM.
