Eugenia Rodkey

Eugenia "Gene" Rodkey, 82

of RD 3, Clearfield died on Monday, November 25, 2002 at her residence.

She was born on August 17, 1920 in Houtzdale, PA, a daughter of the late Andrew and Effie Margaret (Cupples) Benovic.

Mrs. Rodkey was employed at the Clearfield Hospital as a Registered Nurse for many years.
She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Clearfield


She is survived by four children,
John David Rodkey and his wife Joyce
Timothy Rodkey and his wife Karen
Charity O’Dell and husband William O'Dell
Sandra Rodkey Snyder all of Clearfield

four grandchildren,
Terri Cartwright and husband Tom
Matthew Rodkey and wife Kelly
Janean Rodkey
Kristen Rodkey

2 great-grandchildren

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Robert Rodkey on January 21, 1996 and whom she married March 5, 1941 in Duncansville, brothers Charles Benovic, Lawrence Benovic, Andrew Benovic, Bernard Benovic, and two sisters Marcia Benovic and Ruth Oldham.
She was the last surviving member of her generation.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
10:00 A.M. with Dr. Douglas S. Pride officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9:00 PM and on Wednesday from
9-10:00 AM.
