Eunice R. Marvel, 86, of Frenchville died on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.
She was born on June 5, 1931 in Southern Chester County, a daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes (Connell) Rosazza.
Eunice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. She was a former Girl Scout leader and 4H Horse and Pony Club leader in Landenberg, PA. She grew mushrooms for many years and retired from Gourmet's Delight Mushroom Co. in Avondale, PA. She loved all animals and was an avid horsewoman who liked foxhunting and carriage driving. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville.
She is survived by three daughters, Rosemary A. Marvel of Frenchville, Elaine M. Henry and husband Robert of Frenchville, and Valerie L. Marvel of Elkton, MD; three grandchildren, Todd M. Henry and wife Anau, Steven R. Henry, and Selena Ortega-Marvel; two great grandchildren, Ngata and Ileini Henry; a sister, Elizabeth Parsons and husband Floyd of Avondale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Martorano.
A memorial mass will be held at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville, on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11 AM at with Fr. David Perry as celebrant.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 10-11 AM.
The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.
