Eva C. Dodge Lindsey, 82 of Clearfield died on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.
She was born on November 15, 1926 in Clearfield County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha (Lucas) Welch.
Mrs. Lindsey was employed at a laundromat in New Jersey until returning to Clearfield in 1983.
She is survived by three step children,

two sisters,
Edith Mihalko of West Decatur
Edna Best and husband Jessie of Elmira, OH
and several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Dodge in 1987, her second husband, Clyde R. Lindsey on December 16, 2002 and whom she married July 15, 2000,
six brothers, Carl, Haskell, Charles, Herb, Elmer, and Floyd Welch and four sisters, Theona Derbeque, Bertha Collar, Mary McFaye and Gladys Martell.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. James L. Knepp officiating. Interment will follow in the Donahey Hill Cemetery, Millstone Township, Elk County.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 – 8:00 PM and Friday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield.
