Eveline L. Gardner, 89, formerly of Cincinnati, OH and most recently of Curwensville died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on March 12, 1917 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Ross) Kimbell.
As a child, Mrs. Gardner lived in Curry Run. She graduated from the Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse in Ravenna, Ohio. She returned to this area in 2003.
She is survived by a brother, Charles Kimbell of Mahaffey and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gardner in 1983, a son, Charles Gardner, Jr., and three sisters, Viola Spackman, Grace Kling, and Fern Patterson.
Private services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield at the convenience of the family with Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Interment will be at the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Ohio.
There will be no public visitation.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Western PA Chapter, 2 Gateway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
