Fannie M. Ellinger, 90, formerly of Clearfield and most recently a resident of the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana died on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the home.
She was born on July 7, 1916 in Houtzdale, a daughter of the late Emile and Josephine (Tubo) Godin.
Mrs. Ellinger was a homemaker and attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield.
She was a giving, loving and compassionate woman all of her life.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Coon and husband Clarence of Smithfield, NC; two grandchildren, Lynette Brown of Jacksonville, FL and Daniel Coon of Smithfield, NC; one great granddaughter; a sister and brother, Daisy Chnupa of Clearfield, Paul Godin of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard F. Ellinger on October 14, 1999, sisters, Josephine Kyler, Diven Ogden, Rachel Heichel and Blanche Godin and brothers, Amos Godin and Lewis Godin.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.
