of Mineral Springs died on Friday, May 23, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Doxie Gray in Wallaceton.
She was born on May 13, 1905 in Shiloh, a daughter of the late Jacob and Rose (Ross) Maines.
Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of the Moshannon Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by eight children,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Karl Young on November 11, 1988 and whom she married April 11, 1925 in Mineral Springs, two sons Richard Francis Young and Louis Carl Young, four brothers and six sisters. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard B. Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, RD, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Foundation for Health Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
