Firmin A. Kitchen, Sr., 77
of Clearfield died on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on July 11, 1938 in Clearfield, a son of the late Oscar and Ann (Koresko) Kitchen.
Mr. Kitchen retired from Glen Gery Brickyard, Clearfield after many years of employment.
He was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812.
He enjoyed watching football.
His greatest love was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judith C. (Muir) Kitchen whom he wed September 27, 1975 in Clearfield; a daughter, Sherri Farmery of Clearfield, two sons, Firmin A. Kitchen, Jr. and wife Elizabeth and Brian Kitchen, all of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Stephany Graham, Danielle Farmery, Rebecca Farmery, Firmin Kitchen, III, Lauren Kitchen and Leyla DeBlasio; two great grandchildren, Nancy Graham and Hoyt Goss.
He is also survived by these brothers and sisters, Walter Kitchen and wife Martha Jean of Rochester, NY, Ed Kitchen, Joanne Kitchen, Diane Luzier and Dan Kitchen, all of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of Mr. Kitchen, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association 1128 State Street, Suite 301 Erie or to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
