Florence M. Faulkner, 82, of Curwensville died on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on September 6, 1938 in Croft, a daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Shugarts) Aughenbaugh.
Mrs. Faulkner worked for Shortway Products from 1967-1983, waitressed at various places, and retired from the Hyde Post Office.
She was a member of Clearfield Loyal Order of Moose
She is survived by her son, Brian Faulkner and wife Jennifer of Hyde; her daughter, Desiree Hubler and husband Mark of West Decatur; four grandchildren, Mark Hubler Jr., Justin Hubler, Jacquelyn Brown, and Mathew Faulkner; nine great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; two brothers, Frederick Aughenbaugh and Steven Aughenbaugh; four sisters, Donna Wilson, Gail Morgan and husband James, Barb Musser and husband John, and Loretta Dixon and husband Michael.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Faulkner on May 23, 1997 and whom she wed May 10, 1965 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Bert Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11 AM with Rev. William Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 PM and Thursday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Moose Heart Foundation, made payable to Moose Charities, Inc., 155 S. International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100.
