Frances Clark

Frances A. Clark (nee Medzie), age 81, of Hyde, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in her home surrounded by family.

She was born July 1, 1939 in Morrisdale, PA to the late Michael and Anna Medzie. She graduated from Morris Township High School in 1957.

Frances married the love of her life, George D. Clark, on June 18, 1960. He passed from this life on February 15, 1994.

Cherished mother of four children - George R. (Eleanor) of Clearfield, Suzanne A. of Hyde, Michael P. of Clearfield and Gloria J. (Thomas) Litwinowicz of Cleveland, OH - and three grandchildren - Steven M. Clark of Clearfield, Jeremy D. (Veronica) Litwinowicz of Virginia Beach, VA and Brianne E. Litwinowicz of Cleveland, OH.

She is survived by four sisters - Evelyn Colomb of Syracuse, NY, Elizabeth Higgins of Norfolk, VA, Margaret (Charles) Brady of Cortland, OH and Veronica (Charles) Pleskonko of Atco, NJ. She is predeceased by four brothers and two sisters - Michael, Paul, Carl and Edward Medzie, Anne Wassel and Martha St. Laurent - and beautiful granddaughter, Danelle.

Frances was a member of St. Agnes Church in Morrisdale, where she served as Eucharistic Minister and member of the Emmaus Singers and Altar and Rosary Societies. She was also a lifetime member of the Hyde Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:30 AM. The service can be live streamed at www.facebook.com/beardsleyfh. Interment will follow in the St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.

Friends will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, February 5, 2021, 4-7 PM and Saturday, February 6, 2021, 10:30-11 AM.

A Rosary service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Agnes Building Fund or The American Cancer Society.
