Frank A. Imbruglia, 89 of Clearfield died on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on January 31, 1919 in Clearfield, a son of the late Anthony Imbruglia and Frances (Calari) Imbruglia Marino.
Mr. Imbruglia retired from Harbison Walker Refractories after 44 years of service.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Knights of Columbus, Clearfield Council No. 409, the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge and the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post No. 6.
As a young man he was active with the Civilian Conversation Corps.
A veteran of the US Navy, he served during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia R. (Lischerelli) Imbruglia, whom he wed October 14, 1944 in St. Francis Church, Clearfield

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Joseph Marino, two sisters, Lena Guy and Frances Guy, two brothers, Nick Imbruglia and Philip Imbruglia and a step-brother, Frank A. Marino.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at
10:00 A.M. with Rev. Joseph C. Campbell as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the Clearfield VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8:00 PM and on Thursday from
9 – 9:30 AM.
On Wednesday at the funeral home, a Christian Vigil Service will be said at 3:45 PM and the Sons of Italy Lodge memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield or to the charity of one's choice,
