Frankalee D. Nixon, 58
of West Decatur died on Monday, April 8, 2002 at her residence.
She was born on October 1, 1943 in Clearfield, a daughter of Doloris L. (McTigue) Shaw and her husband Russel of West Decatur and the late Franklin F. 'Kutch' Libreatori.
Mrs. Nixon graduated from the Philipsburg-Osceola Senior High School in 1961 and later from the Adele Allen's School of Cosmetology in Altoona. She then received her hairdresser's license and has practiced as a hairdresser since. She owned and operated Frankalee Nixon's Hair Salon from 1961 until the present. She also did barbering, was the hairdresser at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home and operated a shop for the residents of Mountain Laurel Nursing Home.
She received her teachers license and taught hairdressing, both at the Clearfield Beauty Academy.
In addition, Mrs. Nixon was a longtime employee of Filippo's and a former employee of NARCO.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Martha Washington Lodge #1525 of Clearfield and the Pennsylvania Hairdresser's Association.
She is survived by her husband, John B. "Jack" Bumbarger,

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Franquline Rae Libreatori.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at
10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis C. Hadberg as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the Funeral home on Wednesday afternoon.
