of Clearfield died on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on September 30, 1945 in Clearfield, a son of the late Charles Rumfola Sr. and Margie (Hepburn) Rumfola Derrick.
Mr. Rumfola was formerly employed with the Clearfield Borough and prior to that with the former Harbison-Walker Refractory.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge No. 189.
He is survived by two children, Franklin L. Rumfola Jr. and fiancée Stacy Locastro of Janesville, Mary Renee Rumfola and significant other Tim Caldena of Snow Shoe,
two grandchildren, Zakkere McCartney and Abrie Cecelia Rumfola,
his companion, Liz Shoening of Kylertown,
a brother and two sisters, Charles Rumfola, Jr. and wife Suzanne, Patricia Swift and husband Barry , Mary Kay Semelsberger and husband David all of Clearfield
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at 10:00 A.M. with Father John Chaplin as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil service will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 4:45 PM.
