Franklin G. Shaw, 59, of West Decatur passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
He was born on April 12, 1963 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Russel and Doloris (McTigue) Shaw.
He is survived by his son, Ian Shaw and girlfriend Makayla Shaw; his daughter, Leigha Hunter and husband Brice; and his sister, Shawn Shaw; niece, Heather Ireland and husband Chris; nephew Harry Ghaner Jr. and wife Diane; great nieces and nephews,Victoria Ireland and fiancé William Myers, Devynn Ireland, Kait Ireland, Curtis Ireland, Haidyn Ghaner, Casey Wilsoncroft, Colton Ireland and Christopher Ireland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Franquline Rae Libreatori, Frankalee D. Nixon, and Phyllis M. Ghaner.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Brenda K. Leigey officiating. Interment will follow in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 9 - 11 AM.
