Geneva Snyder

March 15, 1927 — April 2, 2022

Geneva E. Snyder, 95, of Clearfield died on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

She was born on March 15, 1927 in Bigler, a daughter of the late Clark and Lena (Wisor) Williams.

Mrs. Snyder was employed at Murata Erie for six years and prior to that, she worked at the former Clearfield Cheese Company for fifteen years.
She was a member of Clearfield Alliance Church.

She is survived by three children, Marsha Peters and husband Edward of Woodland, Brenda Snyder of Mechanicsburg, and Dale Snyder and wife Phyllis of OH; three sisters, Maxine Owens of Woodland, Marjorie Smeal of Clearfield, and Patricia Wallace of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Snyder on October 12, 1989 and whom she wed July 15, 1948 in Williamsport. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clair Williams and Marvin Williams; and a sister Faye English.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Duane White officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 12-1 PM.

MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Alliance Church, attn: Missions Fund, 45 Alliance Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
